Google Earth – Once you’ve downloaded the software, you can fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings. You can also view outer space or in the ocean. You can explore geographical locations, save your toured places, and share with others.
Google Lit Trips – This site is an experiment in teaching great literature in a very different way. Using Google Earth, students discover where in the world the greatest road trip stories of all time took place… and so much more! On the site, teachers share the Google Earth saved trips they’ve created to accompany the novels that they teach.
Google Maps – Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions. (You must have a Google API Key to display Google Maps on your website. Go to this link to sign up for a key.)
