Create Student Accounts

  1. Scroll down in your “Dashboard” to the “Student” area. (I cannot show an image without violating student privacy.)

  2. Click the pink “Add new students” button.

  3. You will be prompted to indicate how many students you would like to add.

    • ONLY answer this question IF you want to add each new student individually.
    • I DO NOT recommend this method as it is more time consuming.
  4. Instead, click “Download File” to get the Glogster excel file.

  5. Open the file (or save it if you are going to continue these steps at a later time).

  6. There is a tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet called “How to use this tool” that contains very simple instructions that you can use if you wish.

    • Note: You must go into Tools>Macros>Security in Excel to set the security no higher than “High.” I temporarily set it to “Low” to ensure it would definitely work.
    • Then close the Excel program, reopen it and the file from Glogster.
  7. Now you are ready to start loading your data.

    • Input Nicknames, First Name, Last name, Grade and Gender.
    • The Passwords and Links will auto-load when you click “Import.”
  8. Click “Import.”

    • You may be prompted to login to your Glogster EDU account if you are not logged in when you click “Import.”
  9. Save the excel file as you will need this information when getting the students started in Glogster.

  10. Done!
