I’m a big believer in learning by doing, but it you want the functions broken down for you, here is a brief explanation of how to use each tool in the order that they are placed on the black toolbox on the screen. (If you are preparing for using Glogster, create a new glog to try out the functions as I explain them.)
Concepts & Editing Tools Overview
Click and Drag
Each item on the glog editing page (that looks like graph paper) can be clicked and dragged to the desired location on the page.
Resize & Rotate
Each item on the glog editing page can be clicked and then resized or rotated using the arrows located around the item and in the center of the item.

Whenever you want to edit an item on the editing page, select it by using the right mouse click which will reveal the item’s individual “EDIT” tool box. Options for editing an individual item are in the following order:
- EDIT
- Change the Graphics Colour
- Add Link
- Add Effects
- Bring it Forward
- Put it Behind
- Clone
- Cancel Changes
- Delete

When you want to ADD an element to the editing page, click the title of the item you would like to add. You can choose to add the following elements: Graphics, Text, Image, Video, Sound, and Wall. You cannot choose Data or Draw because they are only available with a premium account. Note: There are other web applications that will allow you to create a drawing. You could also draw a picture, scan and upload it as an image.
